Whether it’s exploring the islands of Casco Bay or a day hike up one of the many nature trails just inland, the greater Portland area has an unlimited number of outdoor adventure opportunities. This week is designed for students to become familiarized with the number of available outdoor excursions that can be educational, healthy, and fun. This week requires a lot of energy so get some rest and be prepared for a lot of walking, hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, etc. Throughout the week we’ll visit many of Maine’s State Parks and other outdoor recreational attractions, as well as take time out to just swim and hang out.
